The trail features a negligible altitude drop, and starts from the entrance to the campsite.
It initially unwinds along the cliff in front of the site and, after crossing a stretch of plain enriched by typical Mediterranean scrub, climbs along the incision leading to the plateau on a mildly uphill portion. From here, mostly on paved road with very little vehicular traffic, you get to the access road to the village of San Vito.
A special feature of this process is represented by curious karst formations and small caves, probably shelter for our ancestors. A beautiful itinerary to discover a piece of ancient Sicily and reach the town with the whole family.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”52px”][vc_column_text]Difficulty level: easy
