[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Description” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%2300bab3″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]A walk for the whole family in an ancient forest: not only sea in the Trapani region, but also luxurious nature to live a day surrounded by plants and animals.
The excursion begins with a car ride of approximately 10.5 km, which leads to the top of the Scorace Nature Reserve, the green lung of the Trapani area.
The Forest has great botanical importance: it covers 750 hectares on a hill and houses a historical forest strip abundant with cork oaks, a botanical niche of particular value.
In this forest, trees grow lush and allowed the undergrowth of Mediterranean brush to be particularly rich: gorse bushes, blueberries, heather, blackberry bushes laden with blackberries and patches of colorful wildflowers.
The wealth of this area has also allowed the growth of the so-called Caesar’s mushroom, which the Romans called the food of the Gods for its divine taste.
Along the way, almost certainly, you will experience pleasant encounters: some twenty affectionate donkeys grazing freely and always in search of pampering.
The Forest is also equipped with tables and benches for picnic fun. In this area, you can stock up on fresh water flowing from a rustic fountain and let your children roam free in the green areas: a beautiful day in contact with nature![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”52px”][vc_column_text]Difficulty level: easy
